Concrete Slab Modification for New manufacturing Equipment.
Strahman Valve, a global leader in the design and manufacturer of innovative wash down equipment and custom process valves, needed a very specific modification to their existing slab to accommodate a new, Doosan DBC Horizontal Boring Machine. R & R was contracted to remove parts of the existing slab, excavate inside building, 5 vertical feet, install soil liner, construct reinforcement grids and pour new slab, 4’thick. All work had to be completed and protected while the plant was up and running.
